Hi, I'm Dr. Nicole Vega

Over 15 Years of Veterinary Experience
Dr. Vega has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian for 6 years. Prior to becoming a Veterinarian, she was a Veterinary Assistant/Technician and involved in animal welfare since 2008. She provides veterinary relief services, at-home euthanasia, and mobile preventive veterinary care through her company, Hummingbird Veterinary Care.
Dr. Vega received her Bachelors of Science in Zoology with Pre-Vet specialization from Washington State University – graduating with high distinction and Magna Cum Laude from WSU. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from WSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Her fields of focus within veterinary medicine are soft-tissue surgery, dental surgery, and shelter medicine working as a relief veterinarian at various clinics (11+ clinics). Through her company, her focus is at-home euthanasia and mobile preventive care.
There's No Place like Home
Dr. Nicole Vega is a Lake Chelan local, having been born and raised in Lake Chelan. She currently resides in the Wenatchee area with her dogs, Banjo & Meeko, and her cat, Fern.

In her free time, Dr. Vega enjoys spending all her time outdoors with her dogs. Her hobbies include international travel, chasing down lighthouses/lighthouse enthusiast, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and hiking – and a goal to visit all 63 national parks in the US.

Dr. Vega is enthusiastic to continue to serve the greater Wenatchee area through services provided through her company, Hummingbird Veterinary Care.

In addition, she works with multiple non-profits with a goal to provide quality and affordable veterinary services to underserved communities and support equal access to veterinary care within the greater Wenatchee area.
